We're currently constructing a hanging bag (like a closet door shoe bag) that will hang there with the various pockets sized for and containing things best suited to that location; the rear screen, the hatch prop, fireplace poker, long dog leash for campgounds, extra flashlight, etc.

I'm thinking about some mods to my cabinetry.  The back face of the hanging closet has a few inches of clearance from the back hatch door. I'm thinking of putting tools against that face, but I'm sure others have put other sorts of things there.  I could use some friendly advice if there is any to be had.
