I made it back to Rock Springs after camping at Flaming Gorge. Got chased off the beach by some campsite dude. So I camped in a cool canyon.

The van hiccupped once on the way here this morning which was mostly slow roads, so I am pretty sure it will continue to give me trouble on the way home.

I'll probably get back to Colorado, but with some trouble along the way. I'll check the grounds if I do. I'll try disconnecting the 02 sensor also, and generally look over the wiring, and maybe pull the AFM cover and see if a mouse is in there. One thing at a time though.

I was reading the Hesitation on the road thread which seems to be a similar problem. The part I don't get is with the AFM pigtail in or out, it makes no difference. And it feels just like Vanagon syndrome, but now is much worse than an occassional hiccup. Maybe a wire has worked itself loose. It recently has become harder to start when warm, like the battery is drained, but it isn't. May be related, maybe not.

I'll check back when I pass another wifi connection. Thanks.
