Dear fellow vanoneriters from my home and workplace in beautiful down town Powell River BC

last night while rushing to a 7 pm meeting @ 7:01 i was arrested by the site of a very bone white westie fueling up at our local fuel up spot i wheeled about to inspect closer for two reasons 1. white westie 2. south african grill pieces and light assembly

turned out to be a 83.5 with updates ...including a diamond buttoned upholstery padding on many of the interior surfaces like cab roof and sliding door panel etc... owner (i hardly recall (jim brown???) of vancouver seemed to know about jake de villers nice van with 15" gowesty tire pkg and very fresh paint job ...

then today at about 2 pm i was making my way to my moms place when i saw a westie coming at me ... i immediately got into pre wave position and as it got closer i could se it was an interesting colour of blue ... and the name shone up into the sun ... SYNCRO

we passed and saluted as it were with appropriately styled hand gestures

what is different for me in this 84 westie as opposed to the 89 5 speed diesel california ... we had before the wreck ... i used to be excited ... hey look at me ... mine is nicer than yours ha ha now i have a more normal ....hey that is a nice van that fellow has ... sigh ... look at them go ...

ego defoliation at depth ... regards
