The common statement that 'the water tank is slow to fill' came up in a
thread like this one a few years ago.  And at that time I was in agreement.
But Joy Hecht commented that she'd never had a problem, just stuck the hose
adapter into the outside inlet and turned on full blast.  I'd always kept
the pressure down and filled the tank very slowly, had problems with back
flow if I turned the pressure up much.   The next time I filled the tank I
tried Joy's suggestion and darned if it didn't work, fills in a hurry and no
backflow until the tank is full.  So be bold gentlemen, just open that valve
wide open and let 'er rip!
