I just finished a hose replacement project on my 2.1 so this may not apply but of all the 20 y/o hoses it was the smallest hoses with the sharpest bends ie around the oil cooler and water pump that showed the most signs of fatigue. The large hoses all looked/felt ok and I've put 230K miles on my van driving year round in Northern Michigan. I'd keep some heater hose with clampable hose bridges and a few of the funny shaped smaller bits and some rescue tape.
