re fluid in the boot must have sucked air." there should never be fluid in the boot. It is just a dust seal ..a rubber boot to keep moisture out , etc. the actual seal is on the piston up in the cylinder. if there is fluid in the boot, the slave is leaking ..and due for replacement.
