Subject:      Need Help with NLA Coolant Hose project

As many of you know coolant hoses for the Vanagon are getting harder and
harder to come by.  If you own an 82 Diesel Vanagon or an early 83.5
waterboxer you have been painfully aware of this for years.

However now I have the opportunity to have new hoses made.  These new
hoses will be replicas of the original so fit should be exactly the same
and they are made of more updated materials so life span should be on
par with or better than original.

What I need help with from you folks is some good, used, hoses to used
as templates.  What I am looking for are hoses for the 82 diesel Vanagon
in the engine bay, and engine bay hoses for the 1.9l Vanagon along with
the front radiator hoses for the 1.9l with the metal pipes.

I would take donations of these hoses or I would be willing to trade
them for parts, etc.

Hopefully this project will guarantee the future viability of the
Vanagon.  If you wish to help out with this project, please pmail me off
list.
