the switch isn't on the AC compressor.
it's in the hoses and fittings ..
often in the left rear cabinet area.
Look in Bentley.
I see all kinds of mickey mouse modifications, nothing would surprise me that much.

Hi Bill,
Do you think the high pressure switch would be disabled / non
functional in a conversion like mine? If the switch is part of the
original Vanagon A/C pump then it definitely doesn't exist in the van
now.
