Howdy List, I've switched out the standard sliding side windows in my '83 Westy for retro-fitted Jalousie windows from a 70's Westy. Now I have 2 '83 Westy sliding side windows with screens for sale with a bonus third Westy side window that is missing the screen and the smaller/fixed piece of glass. The third window has all of the aluminum parts in good order and the latch along with the larger piece of glass so may make a good parts source should it ever be needed. I'm in Savannah GA through tonight and then will be headed South down the coast until somewhere around Jacksonville early next week. From there I'll head North-Northwest towards the Blue Ridge Mountains by the first weekend in September (hopefully). I mention the travel itinerary because I'd prefer to sell these to someone along my route so that third party shipping isn't needed. Price for the windows is $150 but is negotiable depending on delivery options or shipping costs etc.. I'd like to get them off of the roof rack! Also I haven't seen many Vanagons down here in the low country, where are ya'll? I saw one Vanagon Westy in Beaufort SC down amongst the old houses but that's it so far. I should know not to expect Vanagons in this part of the world by now I guess. It is a little hot down here for Westy travel but the new Jalousie windows should help with that a little.
