  I've thought of putting a drawer under my drivers seat.  You could connect
a multi-gadget charging station  to a shallow pull out drawer on full
extension slides.  Power it from the extra battery right there with a coiled
power cord.  Maybe some bungee cord to hold your devices in place...slip the
cell phone or the I-pod under the bungee, plug into the outlet and push the
whole mess back under the seat..Reach down and get it when you need it...
  I might try that...when I find the time.
