I drive an air cooled '80 Westy. The seats have no armrests. But even when I had an 84 (or was it 85?) Syncro with armrests on the seats, they didn't feel comfortable. I always end up with my arm on the narrow ledge at the edge of the window opening. Today I finally acted and screwed a standard door armrest right at the top of the vinyl interior panel. Two screws and my life is better. I had a spare so I used that, but I could have moved the original. In fact, I think I'll be taking that one off soon. It was always pretty useless and even more so now. John Jensen johnjensen@johnjensenartist.com http://www.johnjensenartist.com bluesbug@verizon.net |
