Try rotating the bulb 180 degrees and reinserting.

|right front parking light.  Signal light works fine but the
|parking/running light does not get power;  A test on the wire
|for 12v proves A-ok until I attach the wire to the bulb
|holder.  Volts drop to zero as soon as contact is made.  Bulbs
|swapped side to side and not the problem, bulb holder appears
|clean and correct without cross-wiring, etc. The fuse remains
|intact when I do the test and all other lights (brake, signal
|and other parking lights) are ok.

|I'm sure I'm not the first to come across this issue but don't
|have enough electronics knowledge to understand relay problems
|and the such...
