Well, there is that! Although when I bought my '82 diesel Vanagon, the P-PO had an engine fire - - I think it started as an oil fire. The PO then bought it for cheap and put in another 1.6 na, which is how it was when I got it.

So, probably less of a fire hazard, but not fireproof! :^)
