dear heater inspect the item carefully for holes and other potential problems make sure exhaust is off to the side opposite the sliding door and is fee of holes and rust or kinks that might keep it from venting correctly we had one on our 1989 OEM Diesel California ... i just set it to run on constant and set the dial at high or low (1 to 5 setting numbers) open the roof vent or it becomes very dry ... found it kept things toasty warm up to 5 below 0 regards
