Friend in town here just bought a '91 syncro westy. PO had lost interest in it (?) but before that he managed to drill holes to attach this and that to pretty well every wall inside the van. Even the diff lock panel was drilled. He had plastic flower pots screwed here and there as catch alls.

Hideous interior lights, half a roll of duct tape on driver's side rear view mirror stalk (electric mirror), loosely mounted rubber antenna, awning leg support bracket screwed to pass. door, really kludgey bent extension on shifter, holes drilled in luggage rack and pop top.

The list goes on. Funny thing though, the little plastic tab on the light above the glove compartment was intact - first one I have seen unbroken in a while.

Some rust low on kitchen side panel and a little bit of seam rust elsewhere, it is a project van to be sure.
