John, you want one relay to power the low beam circuit. You want a second relay to power the high beam circuit. Together, these two relays will prevent high currents from flowing through the headlight switch. The switches in the column will merely direct control current to the appropriate relay(s) and will also no longer carry heavy loads. Yours, David |
