Seems like the most important wires you want to locate, are the speaker wires. You could pull each speaker and take note of what colors are used, as well as the polarity for each. You can double check this back at the dash by briefly hooking up a little 9v battery to those same wires and see if you can get the speakers to crackle when touching the wires to the battery. Rinse and repeat for each speaker. You can then use a test light to determine the battery and keyed power sources, though it might be easier to just run those from the fusebox yourself.
