I do understand that.  I think I'm the sort of person who would enjoy it.


I fly my underpowered plane right across the country, solo, with
minimum gear.  Partly because I love proving that ordinary people can
achieve a lot with a little low technology and a lot of
self-reliance.  Off-shore sailing feels like a logical next step for
me.  But only after a *lot* of learning.
