DIN 47 002 standard for German wiring color code tells the real story.

Yes indeed. .This is the process I've been working with. However, it would be nice to have a comprehensive list of "Brown/Red goes to....." That could easily and accurately be referenced to the diagrams included with the stereo. I was hoping someone knew of one. I found one on thesamba but it's wrong.
