I'm not sure about that gate, a couple of friends got to Comox lake this spring, one went to a site north-west edge of Comox Lake, at km 13 along Comox Logging Road, looks like a local hot spot for bush parties. The other explored further. Will attach pics of latter, will make to Trevor and Phil, but not to list.


"Went up to Comox Lk last w/e in search of Simons campsite.  Found it but discovered it was a bit of a magnet for dirt bikers and big 4x4s with loads of wood and lawnchairs.  Decided it was maybe not going to be very quiet so moved on down the lake.  Found a nice place to park for a couple days.  North flag marker was the campsite and took the dog for a bike ride down to the south and west flags."
