Get the wire tooth brush out of your tool bag and clean the sacrificial metal from the wiper splines. Put the wiper back in position, tap it on, I use a socket as a drive. Notice I said 'tap' it on. Washer & nut... not too tight but tight enough. Good to go till next time.
