That might have been the one. I was passing on the freeway and also checking for wind...so I was going slowly. There are often long term campers parked in that lot...A number of Canadian BoardHeads spend much of the summer sailing season parked right there... return year after year and stay in the same parking space.

I hope he found some good Vanagon mechanic....I have never heard of anyone that is spoken highly of around The Dalles or Hood River as a Vanagon guy...
