Subject: Front Seat Belts and Instrument Cluster
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hi All

I have a few issues that I am hoping someone can help me out with. I am a newbie to Vanagons since I have only owned air-cooled buses.

I have a 1987 Vanagon GL that has recently been painted inside and out. I removed my interior and I replaced the panels and seat covers from Sewfine. Not cheap but "Van-A-White" looks beautiful. The problem I have is I forgot how the front seat belts are installed. Does anyone have a photo of their seat belts. That would do the trick. I do have another issue that I have to deal with. Since I have all new interior I was thinking of replacing my instrument cluster if I can find a really nice one at a reasonable price. The plastic lens are pretty scratchy and cloudy. Does anyone know of a product that will clean the plastic lens on my instrument panel? or does anybody have one for sale that is in really nice condition? Lastly, I am wondering if a blue-star grey dashboard would go with Dark Charcoal interior?

Thanx for taking the time to read this and if anyone can help me out, I would really appreciate it. We are heading out soon for "Westies at Watkins.

Nikko
