I had a Norcold before I got this Vitrifrigo. I got rid of the Norcold because when the compressor kicked in -- every 10 minutes -- it rattled everything in the van. Sounded like a skeleton wanking off in a biscuit tin. It would awake me and I'd have to fuss around with the stovetop and cabinets to reduce the rattle. But it's current consumption was as advertised.

Sent from my smartphone with tiny screen & even tinier keypad.

At the time I wondered if I could make such an adjustment on my Norcold but haven't perused the subject. And BTW, watching how fast my Norcold pulls down a brand new and fully charged battery makes me think that the Norcold is pulling more than the published current also.
