What I have done before is to make the hole in the arm smaller. I did this by putting a socket on each side of the hole with all of it resting firmly on the anvil area of a vise. Then I hit the top socket hard with a hammer. This slightly flattens the casting in the area of the hole making the hole smaller. The sockets need to be selected for best fit in the recesses.
