RE: The right hose at the right time Adding to the takes of leaks and hoses. Not mine but close friend. We were at Catherine Creek State Park outside of Union Oregon about three weeks ago, arriving early for the 15th Annual WetWesties Reunion. One of our members headed out for a wrecking yard a few miles away to scavenge some hoses, spares for his 1.9L. Hoses pulled and paid for he headed off for some shopping. And returning to his Vanagon spotted a leak no less! Want to guess which hose? That's right, the one that he'd just scrounged a replacement for. A short time later he was back on the road and returned to the campground with one of those "You ain't gonna believe this" type stories.
