OK, for those of you who responded that you had backing plates available I greatly appreciate it - I had many good and very fair priced offers. Someone however made me an offer for two backing plates that was just too ridiculous to turn down. So I'm all set with those. Thank you to all who responded to my request.

I may however end up needing a stub axle - looks like that deal may have gone south. I'll keep you all posted.

Now - I know I am not a moderator but some of you are clogging up my thread with arguing and airplane engines. One being unnecessary and the other, while very interesting, has nothing to do with my question :)
