EDE I think is a code for an industrial 1.9TD engine. I bought 3 of them once, One had an injection pump wih a very sharp 'cut-off' at the top of rpm band. Not like power just faded when rpm's got way up there... it would drop power delivery aprubtly at 4,500 rpm or so. Very noticeable in the lower gears , not so much higher gears.

the engine itself though .........all new, all german, and really solid.
