Forget what you think you know, take 10 minutes and do the Bentley fuel quantity delivery test.

You pull the fuel return line from the fuel pressure regulator.

Attach a length of hose, any kind, no clamp, to the fitting on the reg.

Stick the other end of the hose in a container, 1 gallon or more.

Pull the fuel pump relay.

Make a jumper wire with male spade at each end, any gauge wire 18 - 10.

Stick the wire into holes for 87 and 30 of the relay socket, listen for pump to start.

Wait 60 seconds while the fuel pump works, pushing fuel through the rail lines and out the regulator return into your container.

Stop after exactly 60 seconds and measure how much gas you got.

Is it enough fuel?

Now, attach pressure gauge to fuel hose tee test barb and do test again while watching pressure gauge.

Constant pressure at spec?

Mark
