Just curious here. I know somewhere around 14.5:1 is stoichiometric (if that is that strange word and how you spell it) or the target ratio you like to see out the tailpipe when the mixture is correct.

I just did a dyno run with one of my motorcycles and it was really really rich at around 10:1....yet it was still making decent power....Carbs need jetting on this moto. As I watched the Dyno tuning service guy work through a few more modern fuel injected bikes while I waited in line....I was really jealous of the modern stand-alone engine managment systems and how simple he was tuning these bikes....gaining nearly 20% HP and torque on one that was running "Fine" before...., just using his pinky finger on a laptop keyboard... While I don't intend to invest in something like that for the moto in question (I am selling that one).....I am really tempted to look at fitting a MegaSquirt some other aftermarket controller to my inline ABA motor....just to see.
