Subject: stuck muffler bolt in rear engine mount
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"; format=flowed

Greetings all, I am replacing exhaust system and one of the muffler carrier (bracket ) bolts is stuck in the rear aluminum engine mount. I have hammered on it but it is not budging (the nut is already off ). I am going to take off the mount and try and press it out with a vise. I don't want to hammer it any more because I'm afraid the aluminum will break. Any other ideas out there? PB blaster has been ineffective and am leery of using much heat on that aluminum. Thanks. Rick
