I'm trying to figure out hot to identify my manual transmission. I can't find a serial number. Does it have one? I'm pretty sure I have an 091 transmission. I found a parts number 091 301 103, and another marking that is 2WW0. I haven't found a serial number or anything that says DK, which I've read is another identifier for these transmission. I have two transmissions: An '80 and an '83 so I'm trying to decide which one to rebuild. And also just trying to get as much information as I can. I can't find any information on serial numbers in the Bentley, but then Bentley can be hard to negotiate...a case of too much information, sometime.s Help Please...
