Huh. Checked the owners manual for the '86 Wolfsburg and it also say 25A. I remember a time when it got very bad in terms of squeal, based on weather and a time when the switch didn't do anything. So it may have seized in very hot or cold and blew the fuse and is now OK to at least spin again. Edward
