I sure wouldn't use PB Blaster..........the pentrating oil if that's what you mean.

I'd use WD-40. WD-40 may not 'do everything' that other better lubes can do .. but it also is not surpassed for what it is good at.

I'm careful where I use it..but 'usually' for electrical stuff. ...very often it can make them quite a lot happier, at least for me.
