I wouldn't say they've gone down...

and a LOT depends on where a van is and the market area it's in. I have an 85 Westy here currently... that is the absolute finest most original undinged, unrusted, undented, un-sun fadded 85 Westy I have ever seen. Inside and out. 121K miles total . Tons of new stuff on it, new tires, new brakes, new throttle body , rebuild engine etc... It changed hands for $ 13,700 .. I kinda had 12K in the back of my mind... and you can't put a price on 'very original perfect conditon' ...........like that's worth whatever ...7K right there.

and .......interestingly.. that is somewhat close to the original selling price , or 75 % of it at least. So 'good ones' are not going down in value.. in the right market.

On the other hand you find people not on any lists and they don't know what they have is worth. And they might have asked 4,500 for this same van.

I'd say they are holding value.. good ones that is ........even going up, for good ones.

Hi All,

Has anyone noticed a change in the values of Westies in the last few years, up, down or stable? My gut tells me they've gone down, but I don't know if it's a seasonal thing or what.
