thanks for letting us know what really happened for the no-start.
At least you found it.

my mind goes to 3 things on things like your symptom ..
Throttle switch making contact at idle, Temp Sensor II, timing, and oxygen
sensor ..
ok....4 things..
and a little Idle control, I think it's a 2.1 ..so 5 things.
