49 sigh...

If you only count VW vehicles that were my personal drivers:

Current VWs:

'86 Single Cab Syncro '90 Golf Country Syncro

Past VWs:

'59 Ghia Convertible '63 23 Window Bus '67 Westy '66 Bug (converted to Baja Bug - Rolled in '78) '69 Bug (converted to Baja Bug - Rolled in '79) '69 Squareback '70 Bug (totaled on drive home from paint shop) '71 Bug Convertible '71 Fastback '72 Bus '73 411 '73 Thing (stolen) '74 Thing '74 Ghia '75 Bug Convertible '75 Rabbit '79 Bug Convertible '80 Vanagon '81 Iltis '84 Vanagon '85 Vanagon '85 Golf Diesel '88 Vanagon '89 Tristar - 2WD '89 Tristar - 2WD (yep... 2 of them) '90 Vanagon '91 Vanagon Westy

Good thing it's only VW vehicles. Keeps the list shorter! Although, I'm sure I forgot at least a few.

The longest I've ever kept a vehicle for personal use is my '89 Tristar. 5 years. Most rarely make it 18 months...

This list would be at least 5 times longer if we included non-personal use vehicles. I used to buy/sell quite a bit back in the day.

Cheers,

Jeff
