RE: Little TV Mine came with both an AC adapter and a 12v adapter. It has batteries and does charge from either power source. And the batteries are supposed to last about two hours when charged but I haven't run that long on batteries to find out. My experience, in a major urban area, was that the little antenna does a very poor job. I already had the amplified antenna (had used it with another small TV/DVD player in the Westy for several years) so that was not a problem. A note on using it with cable. You have to select 'cable' in a menu to get it to scan the full range of channels and that item in the menus is not really obvious so make sure you find it. It is also sensitive on the viewing angle, pretty narrow angle for getting the best picture. I've found it a more compact item to carry in the Westy than the larger Audiovox TV I had. BTW, I've also tried a USB TV receiver on my laptop for use when traveling. It works but is a PITA to setup and use compared to the one we are talking about. And the $39 price is not bad, these were selling for $79 on eBay for some time (maybe still). I got mine for $25 off Woot! last Spring.
