Hmmm, pretty sure Bentley said fuse position 13 for the blower and rear defrost is 30A. I will double check that and check the owners manual as well. Mine is an '86 Wolfsburg.

Thanks to David, and John for the photos. I see you drilled the whole to the right of the rib rather than the left as in the original Mullendore. I think this is better and read some on the samba to the same effect. Also read that the motor is at an upward angle from the hole so I'll look some more.
