I will probably get two more Hakkapelittas when I can afford them and put the harder slicker Hankooks away for high summer use. I lived and worked in Jackson Hole for 20-odd years, so I am quite familiar and very aware of traction limitations caused by snow and ice. The road surfaces I encounter here and the low traction situations aren't as frequent as there at 6200' base elevation, but I have now a steep long access road to the house that must be negotiated daily and that can be tough in the wet snow of the Pacific NW..
