Dennis, the specified pressure for the 185R14 C or D according to VW is 43 psi front, 53 psi rear for the camper. Does this mean as equipped, and if load is added the pressure should be increased? I have never done so, and the vehicle handles well. Actually, I am running 195R14 D tires (Kumho 857). The maximum pressure for this tire is (as printed on the sidewall) 65 psi.
