damn my memory, M previous post on this subject should be ignored, I was thinking of the rear heater fan.

Robert's description is correct but I will add that removing the slider controls makes it easier. But be careful pullign them, that can be stuck on. Dont pull on the knob, but rather the shaft and use a controlled pul, brace your hand. Robert is right about the pins on the faceplate. Lube them with something on the re-install.
