Ryan, thanks for checking with Graco about this. That was my feeling, and I have never placed my grandson in the jump seat. I for sure will not do so after getting this response. Thanks again, mcneely

I believe they were fitted with lap belts only. Are these seats suitable for any car seat applications? We're a pretty detail oriented group and we realize the lap belt limits the applications which a car seat can be utilized, it is the rear-facing "jump seat" that we are wondering about.
