 Yup. I'm in Edmonds. When I first moved here I was up in the Perrinville area working at home and wasn't seeing many at all. I guess it was a sheltered existance? Now that I'm downtown in Edmonds I see many more! The contrast between being surrounded by them and then less frequent sightings was strong early on. What I was really talking about was the SoCal focus on them and how so many people in a given cricle of freinds drove Vanagons. 
  I see a very nice red Westy driving around Edmonds often and hope they are a member. Next time I see them maybe I'll ask.

And you are in Edmonds? We have at least three WetWesties members, driving Vanagons, in Edmonds.  Two within a couple of blocks of me in Lynnwood.  Zolatan has a whole lot full of them here in Lynnwood.  And I defy you to drive around north Seattle (Ballard or the U District) without seeing several either parked or being driven.
