I second that... .Over the past few weeks I have been scrambling around doing small carpentry jobs to attempt 're-supply' my stash of "Fun-Ticket$" (or at least try to slow the decline in my net worth) before we head south for a spell.

So I get these dorky little jobs where I never really know what tools I will need, or once I show and finish, the homowner finds a "Hey, while I have you here, can you just take a quick look at my ______?" So I have had two full tool chests, a big day box, clamps ladders on top, saw horses cords lumber etc ect....all living in my van....And of course my bicycle and all that equipment...that has to be with me in case I finish up early and I have time for a ride....And then there are windy days predicted, too...so I shove a sailboard in on top and about 4 sails, masts,, wetsuits, etc...And my dogs, of course.

What other vehicle would still be workable with all that crap aboard?...Yeah, I gotta take the sailboard gear out to get to the tools....And changing into my lycra with sawdust and empty lunch sacks littering isn't as nice as when the van is clean....But, it's all there, it works, and I still get about 22mpg if I don't go over about 65 for long.
