Don,

Years ago we used to add a polymer to paint that was to be applied to flexible plastic parts called Polysol. The polymer kept the pain pliable so it would bend with the plastic and not crack.

But that's been 30 years ago. I'm sure that something similar exists today.

I know there are some who've painted ABS plastic parts on various vans and vehicles. What's the drill? You need an additive in the paint? You need a special paint? What kind of undercoat or primer works? I'm good with paint and epoxy stuff but I have limited experience finishing new modern ABS body panels and I need to do that. A little thin on Vanagon content, other than many Vans have 'fiberglass bumpers' that is most likely really ABS and they have been painted by Listees.. Also, the interior parts on the dash and stuff, those are ABS also...
