RE: Names Although I'd said for years that I wouldn't pay the extra fees for a vanity plate I broke down a few years back and started looking at the online site that State of Washington has for applying for vanity plates. Since my first Westy ('Igor', RIP) and the one I drive now (briefly named 'Garfiled' for the stuffed Garfield cat that sits on the dash) first acquired to get me and my telescopes out into the boonies (dark skies) for astronomy I was looking for an astronomy related name. Really wanted COMET (because it's big and slow and parts keep falling off) but all variations of Comet were already taken. All of a sudden 'Starwagen' popped into my head and I tried STARWGN and the rest is history. |
