TB= Throttle Body

The switch part is attached to said TB. Like on the picture below with a
single switch. The switch is that little black plastic piece. You can see
how it has a cam (the circular metal thing being messured) and it engages
the switch at full open or close depending on the presure you have on the
accelerator

The newer version some 85's on have 2 switches.
