I got it for the campers I will rent out. They will be used in the US only anyway. The price is right for me and it will help the people who are in a strange area and have no idea where they are. You are right, it's not the best item, it's only adequate. BTW the renting is popular with people who can't afford to buy or won't drive cross county to be in the NorthWest for a week. Couples or small families were very greatful. Even the ocassional artist who wanted to drive around to make great photoes. Zoltan
