here's a suggestion... assuming what you are working on is the battery is low or weak after a period of sitting, say 8 days.. like there's a key-off current drain .. and you can't find one, or you're not really sure there is one actually...

disconnect the battery . If it's weak in those 8 days ............then it's the battery itself.

if it starts the van up just fine after 8 days sitting ..........then possibly there is a more-than-should-be key-off current drain.

you could also invest about $ 4 in a small battery hydrometer .. if you have one low cell compared to the other cells.........that's a bad battery.

Just want to thank everyone for the myriad suggestions I've received so far; I'm still working on this. I will do so over the next week or until I find it. I thought I would update with more info. I have a gas heater, and therefore, the bigger 70amp alternator. I have had suggestions to pull the alt regulator, but darned if I can figure where it is? I know what it looks like, but I thought it would be on the back wall near the dual-relay?? I am now sheepishly asking where it is??? :-) Thanks yet again, Courtney
